In the January release of Bango analytics a new feature that we are introducing is tri-dimensional reporting. This means that you can optionally add a second and third dimension to almost any report. You can select any dimension that we currently offer (device, device make, operator, campaign parameters to name but a few) for your dimensions to segment your data exactly as you want it.This allows you to view your data in so many different ways, imagine the possibilities; you can see how many unique users you are getting by deivce, operator and page for example. The most common device on your site might be the iPhone but if you add a second dimension of connection to your devices report you can see the most common connection device pair; perhaps it’s the Samsung Vibrant on T-Mobile? Another great example is of a tri-dimensional view of data is search engine, key phrase and device; are users on Blackberry’s using specific key words to find your site? Views like this of the data are invaluable and provide detailed insight into your site visitors and their browsing habits.
Second and third dimensions can be added to a report when you see an extra drop down menu at the top of a report data table. The option for a third dimension is only available once a second dimension has been added.
